Reference Center for Rare Adult Kidney Diseases and Thrombotic Microangiopathies is a part of Vilnius University Hospital Santaros Klinikos Center for Nephrology (including Nephrology and kidney transplantat department and Dialysis department). It has a team of nephrologists, urologists, interventional radiologists, neurologists, cardiologists, interventional cardiologists, geneticists, hematologists, gastroenterologists, dietologists, allergologists, immunologists, ophthalmologists, pediatric nephrologists, otorhinolaringologists, pathologists. Experienced specialists work in various departments of the hospital but are specialized in managing patients with genetic kidney diseases and Thrombotic Microangiopathies.
Goals
Reference Center for Rare Adult Kidney Diseases and Thrombotic Microangiopathies aims to gather various specialists, promote cooperation, innovativeness and professional development. Our main  task is to spread awareness about congenital, acquired, genetic kidney diseases and complement deficiencies and to create recommendations for the optimization of clinical trials, diagnostics and management of these diseases.
