Reference Center for Haemophilia and Coagulation Disorders is the largest center for the diagnosis, treatment, training and research of congenital and acquired coagulation disorders in children and adults in Lithuania. Our center provides a wide range of outpatient and inpatient services: consultations of pediatric oncohematologists, adult haematologists and other professionals. The center uses the most advanced diagnostic and treatment technologies: laboratory, radiological, instrumental, molecular diagnostics, the latest medical and surgical treatment.

The center is one of the largest centers in the Baltic States in terms of rare haemophilia and coagulations disorders, in 2019, we conducted about 4118 consultations.  Since 2015, the center has been a certified member of the European Hemophilia Network EUHANET and it is known as a comprehensive haemophilia care center. In 2016, we joined the European Reference Network EuroBloodNet.

Reference Center for Haemophilia and Coagulation Disorders prioritizes the development of biomedical research that promotes medical innovation. Our center organizes and develops epidemiological studies of treatment outcomes and continuously improves treatment protocols based on the principles of evidence-based medicine. The physicians regularly attend international conferences and improve their knowledge, present the results of their research.
The Center actively participates in the activities of Lithuanian hematologists and Lithuanian pediatric oncohematologists, organizes scientific-practical conferences for students, residents, doctors and patients.
