Assoc. Prof. Žydrūnė Visockienė, a graduate of Vilnius University, Faculty of Medicine, a doctor endocrinologist since 2001. Ž. Visockienė has worked at VUH Santaros klinikos, the Centre of Endocrinology since 2007. Head of the Division of Endocrinology since 2010. Director of the Centre of Endocrinology since 2015.
In 2007, Ž. Visockienė defended her doctoral thesis "Pecularities of Energy Metabolism in Obese and Type Two Diabetes Patients" at Vilnius University. As a doctoral student, she studied at the Rowett Research Institute in the United Kingdom. She is an author of scientific articles, books and chapters of books, a speaker at national and international scientific conferences.
Research areas: pecularities of energy metabolism, biochemical markers and body composition in diabetic and obese patients; the quality of life of diabetic patients and the influence of psychological factors on eating behaviour; the influence of obesity, diabetes mellitus and metabolic syndrome on cardiovascular disease risk.
In 2008-2011, Ž. Visockienė lectured at London University School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine. Since 2012, she has given lectures at Vilnius University.
Internshiped in Oxford (UK), London (UK), Cambridge (UK), Copenhagen (Denmark).
Board member of the Lithuanian Society of Endocrinology, member of international organizations: the European Association for the Study of Diabetes (EASD), the European Society of Endocrinology (ESE), International Society of Endocrinology (ISE).

Rasa Žiukaitė, a graduate of Vilnius University, Faculty of Medicine, a doctor endocrinologist since 1993. Since 1994, she has worked as a senior doctor endocrinologist in the Endocrinology Outpatient Clinic of VUH SK. A member of Lithuanian Society of Endocrinology and the European Association for the Study of Diabetes. Work areas include: diagnosis and treatment of thyroid diseases, endocrine ophthalmopathy, rare endocrine diseases, oncological thyroid diseases.
 
Algirdas Masiulionis graduated from Vilnius University Faculty of Medicine in 1978. A doctor endocrinologist since 1983. From 1991 to 2013, he was the Head of the Division of Endocrinology in the Red Cross Hospital (later VUH Santariškių klinikos Central affiliate 2nd Division of Endocrinology). Head of the Outpatient Diabetes Care Coordination Centre and doctor endocrinologist since 2013. Senior doctor endocrinologist of the Outpatient Diabetes Care Subdivision in the Centre of Endocrinology of VUH SK since 2016. A. Masiulionis investigates and treats endocrine diseases, performs thyroid sonography and intervention ultrasound procedures.
 
Dr. Agnė Abraitienė, a doctor endocrinologist since 2005. Doctor of Biomedical Sciences. In 2008, Agnė Abraitienė defended her doctoral thesis “Adipokine and fatty acid metabolism peculiarities in prediabetic conditions and in primary stage of type 2 diabetes" at Vilnius University. Work areas include: diabetes mellitus, thyroid, adrenal, pituitary, calcium metabolism disorder diagnosis and treatment.
 
Jolanta Bacevičienė, a graduate of Vilnius University Faculty of Medicine. Since 1993, she has worked as a doctor endocrinologist in the Endocrinology Centre of VUH SK. Co-author of an educational textbook about diabetes for students, general practitioners and other physicians. A member of Lithuanian Society of Endocrinology, the European Association for the Study of Diabetes. Work areas include: diagnosis and treatment of diabetes mellitus, thyroid, parathyroid, adrenal, pituitary diseases, obesity, osteoporosis.
 
Airida Audronė Bagdžiūnienė, a graduate of Vilnius University Faculty of Medicine, a doctor endocrinologist since 1995. A member of European and Lithuanian endocrinologist societies. Fields of interest: diabetes mellitus, diabetic foot, thyroid diseases. A. A. Bagdžiūnienė also gives training to residents of endocrinology.
 
Violeta Dautaraitė, a doctor endocrinologist since 1987. A member of Lithuanian Society of Endocrinology, the European Association for the Study of Diabetes. Work areas include: diagnosis and treatment of diabetes mellitus, thyroid and other endocrine diseases.
 
Vigantas Dunauskas, a doctor endocrinologist since 1990. Fields of interest: diabetology, thyroid diseases. Vigantas Dunauskas performs thyroid and adrenal ultrasound examination and ultrasound guided thyroid biopsies. Ultrasound specialist experience since 1989. A member of Lithuanian Society of Endocrinology, the European Association for the Study of Diabetes.
 
Saulius Grigonis, a graduate of Vilnius University Faculty of Medicine, a doctor endocrinologist since 1971. Head of the Division of Endocrinology from 1991 to 2010. A consultant in the Endocrinology Centre since 2010. For professional development S. Grigonis regularly participates in training courses both in Lithuania and abroad – Estonia, Latvia, Great Britain, the USA, Mexico, France, Italy, Hungary, Germany and the Netherlands. He has had teaching experience since 1971. Till 2010, S. Grigonis had been a longtime consultant on endocrinology questions at the Lithuanian Ministry of Health, participated in work groups discussing diabetes care programs, introducing new testing and treatment algorithms for solving drug prescription tactical questions. The doctor actively participates in public education explaining endocrine disease causes, treatment and prevention through means of mass media - television, radio, popular publications. In 2011, S. Grigonis was awarded the honored Lithuanian Doctor's name. Fields of interest: thyroid diseases, endocrine system pathophysiology, the art of diagnostics, the history of medicine.
 
Rasa Juškinė, a graduate of Vilnius University Faculty of Medicine. A doctor endocrinologist since 1998. A member of Lithuanian Society of Endocrinology, European Association for the Study of Diabetes (EASD). Work areas include: diagnosis and treatment of diabetes mellitus, thyroid diseases, endocrine ophthalmopathy, adrenal diseases, rare endocrine diseases, thyroid oncological diseases, monitoring and treatment of patients after pituitary gland surgery.
 
Dovilė Kriaučiūnienė, a graduate of Vilnius University Faculty of Medicine. A doctor endocrinologist since 2000. A member of Lithuanian and European Societies of Endocrinology. Work areas include: diagnosis and treatment of diabetes mellitus, thyroid and other endocrine diseases.
 
Romena Laukienė, a graduate of Vilnius University Faculty of Medicine, a doctor endocrinologist since 2002. A member of Lithuanian and European Societies of Endocrinology. R. Laukienė regularly attends international conferences and congresses abroad and in Lithuania. Work areas include: diagnosis and treatment of thyroid diseases, diabetes mellitus, pituitary gland, adrenal and neuroendocrine tumor. R. Laukienė performs thyroid ultrasound and ultrasound guided thyroid biopsies.
 
Gintarė Naskauskienė has graduated from Kaunas Medical Academy, the therapeutic medical specialty course. A doctor endocrinologist since 1995. From 2003 to 2011, the Deputy Head of VUH SK Central Branch 2nd Division of Endocrinology. Apprenticeship on Sten Diabetes Centre in Denmark in 1997. Work areas include: care during pregnancy and childbirth of pregnant women with gestational diabetes, diabetes mellitus and other endocrine diseases, diagnosis and treatment of diabetes mellitus, thyroid, adrenal and pituitary gland diseases. A member of European and Lithuanian Societies of Endocrinology.
Gintarė Naskauskienė
Vaiva Šarkovienė has graduated from Kaunas Medical Academy, the therapeutic medical specialty course. A doctor endocrinologist since 1996. Work areas include: care and treatment of pregnant women with endocrine diseases, insulin pumps, long-term blood glucose monitoring, diagnosis and treatment of adrenal and thyroid diseases. A member of European and Lithuanian Societies of Endocrinology.
 
Liuda Urbanavičienė, a doctor endocrinologist since 1981, investigates and treats endocrine diseases. Fields of interest: gestational diabetes, thyroid diseases, diabetes mellitus, obesity.
 
Assoc. Prof. Vaidotas Urbanavičius, a doctor endocrinologist, has graduated from Bucharest Institute of Medicine and Pharmacy and received his endocrinologist education in the Bucharest National Institute of Endocrinology CI Parhon. Internshiped at the University of Moscow, Gothenburg and Pittsburgh. In 1987, V. Urbanavičius defended his dissertation “Clinical, hormonal and immunological aspects of autoimmune thyroiditis" in Moscow Endocrinology Institute. In 2006, V. Urbanavičius conducted the habilitation procedure "Clinical, hormone secretion and insulin resistance peculiarities of obesity and type 2 diabetes" at Vilnius University. Research areas: metabolic syndrome and insulin resistance, importance of adiponectin in glucose metabolic disorders. A member of Lithuanian, American Endocrinology Societies, European Association for the Study of Diabetes (EASD).
